In this project, we explored the visualization of sound and music by creating a typographic map of acoustic space, based on the a short segment from a piece of music. I chose the song "Sleep on the Floor" by the Lumineers. The paint splatters and rhythmic lines all help to illustrate the interaction of sounds, and hierarchy of instruments that produce tonal clusters in the song, as well as intervals of pitch and time.
